Mr. Ansu Badjie

On Thursday, 5 February 2026, the Safety & Victims Advocacy Foundation (SVAF) paid a visit to Mr. Ansu Badjie, a tractor driver from Kappa Village, who was involved in a road traffic accident at Arrangalen Village, where his tractor was crashed into by another vehicle.

The visit was part of SVAF’s ongoing commitment to stand with victims of road traffic accidents, assess their welfare, and ensure that affected individuals are not left alone in the aftermath of such incidents. During the visit, the Foundation interacted with Mr. Badjie to better understand the circumstances surrounding the accident, the impact it has had on his livelihood, and the challenges he is currently facing.

The CEO of SVAF and his deputy expressed solidarity with Mr. Badjie and reaffirmed the Foundation’s mission to advocate for victims’ rights, promote road safety awareness, and demand accountability where negligence is involved. The Foundation also emphasized the importance of preventive measures and responsible driving to reduce the increasing number of road traffic accidents in communities.
